Day 23: July 25th - Hr Kinnerton to Wigmore Lakes campsite, Wattleborough, Nr Shrewsbury. 630miles +14/12/2025 I couldn't update at the campsite as there was no wifi. But, after leaving Fiona and Martin's, i recall crisscrossing the border into Wales and England and back many times. I admired many a mighty oak - such wonderful trees - and fields of golden corn. Beautiful enormous Stately homes and sprawling Estates. There was one enormous hill - right at the end of the day - so I rolled down into the camp site on my last dribble of battery power. The campsite offers electric powered pitches for caravans and camper vans and has a fishing lake. Bit upmarket for me, but it was quiet and I had an enormous kitchen to myself and where I could plug the bike battery in overnight.
