Had a lovely day out today with friends visiting John and Juliet at the Fibre Harvest Worsted Spinning Mill OPEN DAY in South Molton. I'd recommend it! Bought rather a lot of wool to make mitten kits for the stall Jae and I are having at 'Proper Woolly in Holsworthy at the end of the month. Really got to pull my finger out to get them done in time as there's only a couple weeks to go! (AAAAARGH!). But also ordered cards to sell - so at least there'll be something on the stall, right?
Also got to finish felting bags with half a dozen 'apprentice' children at Chudleigh Knighton Primary School tomorrow - Beat the Boundaries next weekend, entertain my friend Sandra at the end of this week and demo spinning at Devon county Show on Thursday. It's all go.
Meanwhile I handed over the 500g+ of Tibetan Terrier Chiengora to owners last weekend (and we had a wonderful walk up the Cleave in bright sunshine with stunning views over the moors - couldn't be better). LIfe is good.
The picture is of Abi - Queen of the May in Lustleigh 2015. I helped see her into the world all those years ago! Of course, spend most of May Day afternoon nose to nose with small chidlers facepainting as usual - and at least the rain held off for the dancing and procession.
